Behind the Seams

During a visit to India, a scarf caught Peter's eye. "What if this was much, much bigger, like the size of a blanket?" The rest is history. Hollywood at Home has been working with weavers in India, and now all over the world, for almost 20 years to create hand-dyed, woven, and embroidered bedcovers—blankets large enough to “tuck a king.”

Think of these as more than just blankets—they're gorgeous, handwoven textiles for many applications.

Color Story

We’ll use color references like Pantone chips or vintage textile cuttings to create the perfect shade. Time after time, the dyed wool always looks more gorgeous than imagined.

Human Touch

The loom is only so wide, so our bedcovers are pieced together to create the generous scale. The seam where the pieces are joined is a reminder of all the handwork that goes into the production.

Rhythm Section

The Zig Zag bedcover brings a hit of rhythm to this sophisticated, pretty bedroom designed by Peter. The pattern is inspired by a tilework he saw on a trip to the Taj Mahal. Design: Peter Dunham & Associates. Photography: Sam Frost
